Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Overriding CI Veto

We had a similar problem on CDT, project lead solved it by giving all committers permission to remove the reviewer (can't remember if that was Doug or Marc at the time). However until we did that we went about it Eric's way.

In CDT's case the verify vote is overridden normally because a small number of tests are intermittent still.

Hi. We need to override a "Hudson CI Verified -1" for a Gerrit change in our project (Papyrus-RT), but we can't remove the "Hudson CI" from the list of reviewers in the change. How can we override the veto?

A trick that you can use is to re-trigger a build. As Hudson is building, you can manually verify it yourself (assuming you are a committer) and then merge the change before Hudson completes and issues the -1.
