Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Eclipse Oxygen.1(a) video
|
Hi Wim,
I'm glad you like the video.
The voice is from a human being (at least she vigorously negated the
question and sends her greetings ;-).
I took the voice over as a last step:
First, I wrote down the text with some markings for breaks and how to
emphasize it.
Then the text was spoken in as a whole (if a sentence didn't work out
for the first time, she simply repeated it).
Finally, I added the audio file to the video and synchronized it with
the screencasts by moving the cut audio snippets or/and by changing the
video speed.
Thanks,
Holger

Cool video Holger. Thanks!! How did you do the voice over? Is it a robot?
Cheers,
Wim

Hi Charles,
If the video is embedded unchanged, the line "CC-By" is not lost.
In YouTube you can only choose between the "Creative Commons -
Attribution" and the "Standard YouTube License" and allow or not
allow embedding.
Please contact me for derivatives work. Background music requires
"CC-By" and the use of the Eclipse logo is restricted (e. g. of
course you are not allowed to use it for your own product). The
animated SVGs, that I used for the intro, outro and before each
screencast, and everything else I'm happy to share without any
restrictions (as CC0).
Thanks,
Holger
Hi Holger,
Thank you for the video and your efforts.
I would like to point out that the license you have provided on
Youtube is “CC-By”, which does require attribution.
