I’ve no strong opinion on that yet (and likely the EF and legal will have to final say). *My* current gut feeling is that it should be opt-in. Opt-outs, however, will be more effective to get a comprehensive view.

Opting out via bugzilla or something else looks like something that needs to be managed and maintained - and thus needs constant resources. But there might be alternatives like an extension point where plugins can register "ignored namespaces“ to the error reporter. Just thinking loud.
