Sure, but there doesn't seem to be any consensus there. In fact, there
doesn't seem to be widespread agreement that distributed signing is even
desirable.
Our signing infra has become much simpler to use [I agree the old way
was clunky but it was all I could muster up at the time]. We'll also be
deploying Windows and Mac signing shortly using our cert. That has to be
worth something.

Right now you submit a file to an internal web service and get a signed file
back. I'm not sure how easier it can get.
