This is the Quiet Week. The calm before the storm. In order to help make Next Week go more smoothly (since we're releasing on a cool Wednesday, not a boring Friday), here's what we all should be doing: - preparing the Infocenter. Please tell us (via bug 348355) where your doc JAR files are so we can install them. - prepare releases 'offline'. The sooner you can put files in their final location, with final names, the better. Do note that RSYNC IS NOT THAT SMART -- to our mirrors, file 'a.zip' renamed to 'b.zip' is the equivalent of delete a.zip, download b.zip. The same goes for directories (renaming a directory is a delete, re-xfer operation). Of course, we don't want those links showing up on your web pages quite yet :-) - clean up old builds. Mirror sites and member distros will have plenty of new bits to fetch in the coming week. Let's help them by deleting old builds, or moving them over to the archives. - Remember to check that artifact repositories have correct "mirrorsURL".
