Hi Eric,
A 3.6 maintenance site for the b3 aggregator is in the making. We'll
get back to you as soon as it's ready.

All,
First, I'd like to thank you for your responses. I've run into a
wall trying to follow up on the suggestions though and am looking
for pointers.
I had hoped that installing the latest updates to 3.6 would fix
the issue (hinted at by Henrik) they didn't, and the 3.7M3 SDK
also exhibits the same behavior.
So, I've tried installing b3.aggregator... but
eclipse-SDK-3.6.1-win32 appears broken (broken help file), and
3.7M3 won't install 0.1.0.r1014 of Aggregator (from http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/b3/updates-3.7milestones)
due to the error below.
Is there another site with another build I can try? Or any other
suggestions?
Thanks.

I think there was also an issue in this area where download
of child repos did not take place due to issues with last
modified not being set correctly.
I.e a runtime issue - nothing wring with the repos in that
case.

The b3 aggregator is the best tool I know of for
exploring and validating p2 repositories... See http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_b3/aggregator/manual.

Hi,
Our project creates composite repositories for our
nightly, milestone, and release builds. I am now
running into a situation where even though I've
updated with newer milestones and nightly builds,
and the composite repos do contain the metadata, and
the child repos do exist, Helios doesn't seem to
recognize the recent children.
"Install new software" reports no errors, the newer
children simply aren't listed.
Is there a tool I can run to verify and report any
P2 issues?
Thanks.
