Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] "staging" for Indigo & Helios SR1?

 http://download.eclipse.org/releases/staging
will be used for indigo (soon) before moving to milestone/release site at
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo

 http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance
will be used for Helios SR1 (soon) before releasing it to
 http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios

But it is not a good idea to build against these repos, if that is why you are asking about "dependencies". I know it's tempting as everything seems right there, but ....
they are very "temporary", for testing only, before moving to more permeant location. They can be deleted and recreated without notice
(and, at times, this can happen several times a day). Plus, since these are the repositories we are trying to produce, it is conceptually putting
the cart before the horse, as they say. Would be better to use original project repositories for your build dependencies, IMHO.

Thanks,

Subject: [cross-project-issues-dev] "staging" for Indigo & Helios SR1?
Sent by: cross-project-issues-dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi,

When building Helios, all the projects contributed to http://download.eclipse.org/releases/staging, indirectly through the build aggregation model.
Now that both Indigo and Helios SR1 will be built simultaneously, I am wondering where will each go?
I am asking so that I can set each branch of my build with the correct dependencies.
