Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Fw: Hudson build is back to normal : helios.runAggregator #200 -- RC4 staging repo complete

False alarm. They're there. Must have been looking at the wrong file. Sorry for the noise.

No, it will pick up everything fresh. One possibility,
just guessing off the top of my head,
is that you marked the jar artifacts for download.stats
but not the packed artifacts.
The aggregator uses the packed artifacts, if they exist,
and recreates the jar artifacts,
so maybe you need to mark the packed artifacts also?
Thanks for all your work on this David. We wouldn't have
Helios without you :).
BTW, I've updated the artifacts.jar file for the CDT build
with the download.stats properties. But I don't see that reflected in the
latest staging area, e.g. on org.eclipse.cdt.core. Is the build incremental,
i.e. is it not picking it up since it's the same versions of artifacts
that are already in the staging area?

I know most of you don't see these "back to normal" messages

me during my days. :) [yeah, get a life, eh?]
But, this one does signal that we have an RC4 repo, but without as much
joy as usual. I had to remove ecoretools. I opened bug
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=316412
so the owners can see it documented, and perhaps enlighten others what
happened so others can avoid the problem in the future.
As promised, the auto builds are turned off. Thus begins quiet week. I
feel more relaxed already!
I have tagged the build files with 'rc4' so it'll be easy to compare what's
changed and what's not. I say this as a warning, that if a rebuild is approved
for one project, but if I see changes in another project, then those will
have to be reverted, or approved, before any new builds take place. But
who knows .... maybe we won't even need any rebuilds.
Packages should be done about 3:00 PM Eastern time, Thursday (very late,
since we couldn't get a final build for so long today, on our RC4 +3 day.
My apologies for the delay ... and hope everyone has time to test them,
and the staging repo.
Test early, test often.
