Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Change to GMF and GEF Galileo build files

Good question, but no, let's not move CVS tag.

If we ever did need to make an "SR2a", we would know to take into account changes in repositories, with simple comparisons of HEAD to SR2 tag while still being confident in the version numbers there.

But, good info for everyone, feel free to update your Galileo .build files to your repository's final repo site, so in theory we could rebuild, if required.

But, if you haven't noticed, I have turned off Galileo builds so there will be no "confirmation" of your changes. (You could still do a local build, if you wanted to confirm yourself).

Hi Dave,

Last week the GMF and GEF Galileo build files were pointing at the milestones update site.

This week, these bits have been promoted to the releases site. This means I needed to change the Galileo build files to point to the releases update site.

For example, the change for GEF is from
<repositories location="
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/gef/updates/milestones/" label="GEF milestones"/>
to
<repositories location="
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/gef/updates/releases/" label="GEF releases"/>

Nothing else has changed in the Galileo build file, the features have not changed.

Should I move the SR2 tag in CVS?

Cheers...
Anthony
