[cross-project-issues-dev] Status of Galileo SR1 RC1

The common repository is done for RC1. 

The "staging" bits are in 

http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance/

But, this may be hard to test, as of right now, as "download" server 
appears intermittent. 
This may be part of the scheduled server maintenance, but I've opened bug 
286742 in case not.

The process of getting the RC1 content when more smoothly than I would 
have predicted, which speaks to the maturity and dedication of all 
projects involved. Thanks! 


The quick stats are that all 46 *.build files were changed in some way 
since release, 

Only the repository URL changed for 22 of them, but 26 projects did change 
'content' (as indicated by feature version changes). 

The next wave begins August 31 (See 
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Galileo_Simultaneous_Release#SR1). 
Please remember to try and make each of the remaining RCs a true "Release 
Candidate" ... you don't _have_ to wait to the end to be complete! :)

I suspect the EPP "packages" will be ready soon and Markus will keep us 
all informed.
