Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Day 2 Status and Staging Site

David,

On the DTP front, we found some issues with the initial M7 candidate we submitted to the staging site on the +1 date. Last night our build team updated with the most recent M7 build and it should have been updated (SH time 8am). Sorry for any trouble it may have caused.

[cross-project-issues-dev] Day 2 Status and Staging Site

While tomorrow (Wednesday) is the +3 day, I wanted to let teams know there
is now some, partial M7 content at
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/staging

Teams that think they are done with M7 should try out that staging
discovery site, and make sure things there look and work like you think
they should.

Everyone should reserve some time on Thursday to do some final testing of
the discovery staging site. If no objections raised by Thursday evening,
I'll promote to /releases/galileo at that time and that will be our M7
content. Then we'll let it start peculating though the mirroring system
while EPP finishes, and announce it's availability for testing on Monday,
May 11, by which time it should be well mirrored.

While some other teams, I assume, have not yet updated to M7 content, only
three projects have had to be temporarily removed to allow the build to
finish:

ecf.build
m2t-xpand.build
stp.build

So be sure to let me know when you three are ready to re-add it to the
contributions ... or, just uncomment it yourself in the galileo.build
file.

As a side note, the past few days have been very busy, with dozens of
"builds" per day (only 2 or 3 or three per day being completely
successful) but everyone has been very polite and prompt at fixing issues
immediately to allow the next build to make progress. Thank you all very
much.
