RE: [cross-project-issues-dev] EclipseCon stick

I think the problem with presentation material is that most people never have them ready in time for the sticks to be burned (mid-February). Those that do have something ready will likely make further revisions before the conference, so you end up with out of date material.

Someone may have mentioned this, but the big value of having the latest milestone on the stick is that all attendees have it on hand for the tutorials. Having given several tutorials, I can say attendees frequently don't have the latest milestone on hand, which results in a slower startup time for the tutorial.

RE: [cross-project-issues-dev] EclipseCon stick

Hi Team,

I would like to see the presentation materials remain on the stick. This is especially true for the tutorials. The internet service will likely be stellar again this year, but just incase it is down, attendees need to get at the materials quickly.

I have also made use of the stick many times to browse the presentation materials off-line.

If the sticks a 4GB USB keys this year, there should be plenty of space.

Cheers...
Anthony
