Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Galileo Must Do's: How much Rules?- Results are in

Sounds rude? You can get engaged via your PMC's, and it's likely more efficient than discussing this over and over by E-Mail.
That's just it. I can't engage because I honestly don't have the time. I would like to engage more in the discussion about release train rules because I feel that my motivation is affected in a negative way when the number of rules increase, seemingly without benefit to my projects community. There are a lot of other things that I would like to engage in too but where I have to pass for the same reason. Why do our lawyers disapprove LGPL in some cases and approve it in others? I'd like to help fixing issues regarding SVN commit statistics, etc.

But, as I said, there's no time for that. Instead I do what I can to focus my time on providing benefit for the Buckminster community. A community where none of the new must-dos ever came up in a discussion before they suddenly appeared in our bugzilla. Now they require our attention, big-time. I wish the PMC could have trusted us to provide a good enough tool without additional rules. After all, our community will pass a harsh judgment if that's not the case anyway. It's their requirements we ought to fulfill and that should be our top priority.
