Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Memory Overflow, due too Project Builds and directory refreshes

Hi,

can you please open bugs regarding those issues, so that the developers can track them down and follow up on them ?

Thanks, I hope this helps.

Good Day Dear Devs,

I am working with projects which are at the moment up to 2 Gibabyte
in filesystem usage containing hundred thousand of files.

I asked a couple of times, how to disable to build function. It seems
like even when it is getting disabled in the projects menu, sometimes
unexpected build processes start to run.

So it would be really really nice, if somebody could insert the posse-
bilty to disable builds in complete.

And another function I would like, and as well need to see, is, that the
project index is getting refreshed as soon as a file is written.

Or better if I open a directory the directory index is getting refreshed
without the recouring directory structure below that tree is getting
read.

It should not really be such a hard problem. Webprojects can really grow
madly in size. So I am sure this functionallity will get very neccessary
in the future. So if something from the core development reads this
mail, please do the fixes. Lots of people will be mad happy.

Thank you very much!
