Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Platform 3.2.2?

How about this?

Yes, this is for Callisto coordinated winter maintenance that is scheduled for Friday February 16.

In order to release on Friday, the drops should start synchronizing to the mirrors on Thursday but not visible on eclipse.org until Friday.

There was a nice summary of this for the original Callisto release.  It would be great if there was a similar schedule for the maintenance releases.  We wouldn't have to have the "when do we release" conversation each time.  Everyone would be on the same page :-)

When will the eclipse.org servers be frozen so we can push our promoted zips and update jars for distribution to the mirrors?  After the be after the no/no-go meeting on Thursday?

I hope you're not asking me!  I don't know when the servers should be frozen, and which parts should be frozen.  Is this for Callisto?

In my ideal world, projects (including the release trains) tell me when and what to freeze because they understand the impact of releasing without freezing.

/me crawls back under a rock.

So I have new bits for Callisto Winter Maintenance (CDT 3.1.2). The servers are so bagged right now, I haven’t been able to test the update site jars. But they should work, trust me
J… The features-cdt.xml has been updated.

Kim,
I'm going to test-run the build this weekend and then again whenever people submit new content. If you want to do it on Feb 12th, I'll run it on the 12th. I'm easy. It's all supposed to be bug fixes only so it *should* all work the first time.

I thought the earlier messages from Bjorn were with respect to building Europa 3.3M4 but perhaps I am mistaken.  Bjorn, when are we expected to submit our content for the Callisto winter maintenance, is it still Feb 12 as on the schedule?
