Mylar has always required a 1.5 VM, and we plan on participating in Europa.

 

Just fyi, users have not been complaining, but definitely require a good FAQ item on setting up 1.5 on some MacOS and Linux distros.  People who rebuild and redistribute on Linux have not complained recently, but I don’t know if it’s because they got 1.5 GNU Classpath-based JVMs or because they gave up.

Hey gang, I’m just wondering if any of the projects participating in Europa are planning on dropping support for Java 1.4, i.e. are planning on using Java 1.5 features.
