Dear Wayne, all,
let me summarize in few words how I was involved in the CHESS
project.
I'm a senior researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) and I'm
coordinating the FBK contributions to the CHESS project. I mainly
contributed by designing various features related to the support
with contract-based design, model checking, and model-based safety
analysis..
I've contributed to CHESS since around 2012 with the ARTEMIS
project SafeCer and the ESA project FoReVer, where we designed the
CHESS support to contract-based design [1]. During the project
AMASS, ended last year, we designed the CHESS support to the
architecture-driven assurance of safety-critical systems [2].
After the experience in AMASS with Eclipse Foundation (in particular, thanks to Gael Blondelle), we are now changing our contributions to follow the Eclipse procedures and we are supporting Intecs to improve CHESS exiting the incubation phase.
