[che-dev] Update: Removal of Outdated Editors from Che Editors List

Dear Community Members,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to inform you about some upcoming changes to the Eclipse Che editors list.

After careful consideration and review, we have identified several editors that have not been actively supported or updated for a significant period of time. As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the quality and relevance of the available editors, we have decided to remove the following editors from the Che editors list:

These editors have not received updates for quite some time, with the last updates ranging from 2 to 5 years ago. As a result, we believe it is necessary to remove them from the list to ensure that the editors available in Eclipse Che remain current, supported, and aligned with the evolving needs of our community.

To track this effort and provide feedback, we have opened a GitHub issue #22964. Please feel free to visit the issue page to stay updated on the progress or to share your thoughts.

If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please don't hesitate to reach out either in this thread or via the Slack channel.

Best regards,

Red Hat
