Hi Igor -

Just so we are on the same page, I consider "correct" highlighting to stop 
just before the "dd" in your example since the C99 and C++98 
specifications say that comments do not nest.

I checked behaviour on CDT 1.1 and 1.2.0.9.  The C/C++ editor panes behave 
correctly for both highlighting and outlining.  I do not know what the 
Assembler Editor is... can you elaborate?

     Hi all!!!!!
 
May be my message is already late. I've noticed that such snippet as "
/*/**/dd*/" highlights incorrect in C/C++ end Assembler Editor. But 
version of CDT that I have is not latest.
