[cdt-test-dev] Testing CDT 4.0.x on Solaris 9 and 10

>From Enea's experience, testing CDT on Solaris has been a low-priority
task in the community, so far. We would like to avoid some of the
surprises we had with CDT 3.1.x and the best way is to have coordinated
tests together with others who have interests in running CDT 4.0.x on
Solaris 9 and 10 in the near future.

 

Obviously we will contribute to this task and a good start would be if
somebody could discuss test plans for Solaris 9 and 10, as well as
helping out outlining test plans. I guess there is a general test plan
for CDT somewhere and if there were specific ones for Linux (especially
Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop) or Solaris, it would be highly
appreciated if you can share that with us.
