I have created a Bugzilla entry (#154854) which proposes some enhancements to the gdb console.
The contribution consists of two new buttons in the current ProcessConsole toolbar:
- "verbose console mode" switcher to enable/disable MISession verbosity
- "save console content" button to save the console content in a file.

I have followed the contributions instruction in http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/CDT/contributing,
please let me know if I have missed something.
