Anyway, if you can wait until we go GA, I want to have a con-call between all the people who have committed to the managed build in this release, and come up with a strategy to get this feature done (yes, done) by 2.1.

Well, I suppose we can wait for after GA, but this means we are going to have to fork the source then for our product, which I was hoping to avoid.  The usability feedback we have from our internal alpha customers right now is pretty clear in saying this feature is a must-have.  We can’t wait more than about 4 weeks max without having something which solves our problem.

Then again, I guess we have to fork it anyway because all of the GNU definitions are not in separate plug-ins from the rest of the UI :-(
