[cdt-patch] New elf magic numbers

Hi,

 

I submitted a patch last week that had some new magic numbers in it, but haven’t had any feedback yet.  I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at it yet.  I see that a similar patch was applied not too long ago for HP by dschaefer, so hopefully it’s not too controversial.  If I’ve missed a step in submitting the patch (should I have brought the subject up in one of the other mailing lists first, etc) then please let me know.
