Re: [cdt-patch] Support for old K&R-style C function definitions

Victor, please update your workspace and create a new fresh patch, I cannot find a way to make this apply to what is currently in HEAD since I applied your earlier patch while trying to make up my mind about the whole thing.

Sorry for sitting on the fence so long with this ... I was holding off on doing K&R work until we had a more mature parser architecture, which could allow for us to handle language variants through subclassing/delegation and a meticulous, proven strategy for describing toolchains and compilers.  Despite these reservations (and outright fear),  K&R support will lend us a bit more credibility in the embedded world, and help validate the extensibility of our architecture.

Thanks
JohnC

[cdt-patch] Support for old K&R-style C function definitions

Implemented support for old K&R-style C function definitions, with proper binding of parameters for outline view. This solves PR 7541, 35320 and 38434.

        To apply:
patches 20030614 (previous one) and 20030616 are independent, but they will conflict during automatic merge. To apply both fixes, use core_/test_cumulative patches. They contain both 20030614 and 20030616 patches merged together.
