Thanks for submitting that, Pawel. I hope it gets integrated into the Eclipse
code base very promptly, as it would enable us to finish the last couple of
steps for bug 196337, so that local terminal access works reasonably.

I originally filed this bug against Solaris, but of course we need to address
it for Linux, too. Perhaps we should reset this bug's Platform attribute to
All?
