Amazingly, yet not entirely surprisingly, this bug still exists in CDT 3.0
final.  Unfortunately I think this is a very visible problem that will be
apparent to both new users and advanced users that wish to build somewhat simple
console based applications.

Would it be possible for one of the developers to at least confirm that this bug
exists and possibly offer some insight on an approach to solve this problem.
