Select a project
Select an executable

The dialog will indicate an error:

[Debugger]: No debugger available

You must switch to the Debugger tab and select a debugger before you can run an executable even if 
you are not going to debug it.

In my opinion, this reduces the "ease of use" factor.  Maybe the debugger could be defaulted?
