Hi

I have eclipse3.0

J2re 1.4.2 WinXp

I could execute Java Projects fine

I am trying to make eclipse work with C/C++

I have tried to install CDT by downloading Zip file
org.eclipse.cdt.sdk-2.0-win32.win32.x86.zip

Unzipped restarted eclipse!! No good

in 'Help about Plugins ' there is no entry for c and C++

so i deleted it then i used the other method of downloading CDT 'help New
software Find and Install'

closed and restarted eclipse

I checked 'Help about Plugins ' now found entry for c and C++
and i am getting c and C++ entries in 'File - New Project' and also found the
entry for C/C++ in Preferances this time

I get n error when i select 'File - New project - C - standard Make C Project'
an error 'org.ec....ui cannot load org.ec....NewMakeCProjectWizard'
also similar error when i click on c/c++ in the Preferances

Also i tried to redownload the software 'help New software Find and Install' but
i am getting nothing new remotesite 'http://update...../2.0' i.e i select CDT2.0
and hit next it searches the site shows nothing to select

I dont know if there is problem in the Installation

Explored some more there is no entries for CDT in
"c:/eclipse/workbench/.matadata"
I dont know whether its relavent

I Dontknow whether its a bug or I am not doing it wrong

I will also be trying the same on another machine with Linux will update

Regards
Sridhar
