Using Eclipse 3.0RC1 and CDT 2.0M9 
 
In the "Create, manage, and run configurations" dialog, under "C/C++ Local" I 
have specified "Debug" as the Debug perspective and "C++" as the Run 
perspective. Yet when I choose to either run or debug my application the 
perspective never changes. If the perspective was C++ then it stays C++ no 
matter if I click the Run or Debug button and similar if the current 
perspective is Debug - no change of perspective to match what I have selected 
for the two situations. 
I can switch perspectives manually just fine.
