Minutes

• GitHub

  • GitHub migration is done, now just polishing, etc needed. See GitHub Migration for more info.
  • Action (Jonah): Make sure all committers can override PR need
  • Action (Jonah): Send out “migrated” email ASAP

• CDT 10.7.1

  • 10.7.1 is needed for 2022-09 to fix a missing 3rd-party library in our p2 repo
  • Some high priority fixes need to be pushed out too, either in 10.7.1, or in a subsequent 10.7.x release:
    • Bug 580444 - Linker undefined references after upgrading from 2022-03 to 2022-06
    • Bug 580259 - Error in final launch sequence: Attach not supported and its associated gerrit (which will become a PR soon)

• CDT 11.0.0

  • Underway on main branch on CDT.
  • Expected to be released in 2022-12
  • May be delayed if more breaking changes want to be done before we finalize release
  • Action (William): File an issue to ensure we properly handle jakarta dependencies going forward

• Java 17

  • Java 17 is available on build machines and projects on main branch can use it
  • Action (Jonah): Set BREE on all bundles to Java 17 so that all committers/contributors can just use Java 17
