[cdt-dev] New tm.terminal build contribution to Photon.0.M6 (via cdt.aggrcon) (was Re: [tm-dev] New builds for RSE, built against Photon.0.M5)

After a couple attempts to fix the tm.terminal nightly CI job, I tried switching it to use Maven 3.0.5, which was used for the last green build. That worked.

https://hudson.eclipse.org/tm/job/terminal-master/154/

So, I've also submitted a gerrit to pull these latest bits into the simrel for M6:

https://git.eclipse.org/r/119430

As it passed, I've pushed it to master.

If I get time later, I'll see about updating the tm.terminal repo so it can build with Tycho 1.1 and Maven 3.5.2 instead of 0.23.1 and 3.0.5. It should also be building against Photon.0.M6 & JDK 8 instead of Mars & JDK 7.

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick,

I have re-enabled the https://hudson.eclipse.org/tm/job/terminal-master/ job, because that's what's supposed
to deploy to the .../terminal/nightly p2 repository. It still uses Java 7.

Unfortunately - while the build and tests themselves are good - it looks like the build fails due to an out-of-memory
error in the jacoco-antrun plugin. This seems to be a side-effect of the hudson to jenkins migration.
Could you, perhaps, have a look if this can be resolved?

Thanks!
Martin

I've done some refactoring of the existing Hudson jobs, which are now back to green on the new JIPP:

I'm hoping to get more admin access [1] so I can enable some more plugins and track things like warning and test results over time.

Meanwhile, here's the latest build results (as update site zip or folder):

If someone on this list would like to try installing it and see if anything's not working, that's be awesome.

I'm hoping that I can convince the EMO that RSE should come back to the simrel in time for Photon.0.M6.

BTW, the old tm and terminal jobs are still up on the JIPP, but I've disabled a lot of the old ones since I can't imagine they're useful.

Thoughts?
