Cool. That is nice. Maybe not the most user friendly install, but yeah, pulling off mingw.org isn't as great as it used to be. There are lots of alternatives to make up though.

I'm not sure, if that fits into required test environment, but I use the gcc from equation.com.
They have an gcc-4.9 version there, which also includes gdb-7.7
I like that environment much more to setup on windows than msys/mingw.
