Re: [cdt-dev] Eclipse CDT Extension UI Functionality

Wow, that's all it was! I downloaded the CDT 8.3 master zip and installed it from Eclipse thinking that was all that I needed.
Thanks for the help, that makes things easier for sure.

Hi All,

I've been having a problem using the Extensions UI provided by Eclipse for
the Plugin Development. I've experienced this on a number of versions of
Eclipse I have used. I'm currently using Eclispe Kepler CDT.

When I add an extension to the manifest file and the right click on the
extension to add for example, a project type, or some type of definition,
all that shows up is "Generic".

Has anyone else seen/resolved this problem? I know a number of people that
have experienced this problem, but no solutions as to, how this can be
fixed. I know I could do this all from the .xml file manually but the UI is
very helpful and I'm following along the MBS documentation that also
suggests using the UI.

Thanks in advance.
