Re: [cdt-dev] support for remote autotools

Hey Jeff,

Could you give further details about your old proposal or maybe provide
me a link about the discussion? Im not aware of how it was planned.

Regarding Rafael discussion on ptp-dev, Rafael is no longer working at
IBM and, hence, would not have interest in helping on this matter. 

Im still on the beginning of investigation, but my first intention
would be to replace the calls to use the abstraction layer of PTP
(without dependencies).
