Can you get an example when it can be a problem (on CDT 8)?

Something like:

header.h

--------

#ifdef MACRO

...

#endif

file.cpp

--------

#define MACRO

#include "header.h"

...

If header.h is indexed before file.cpp is created, the part conditioned on MACRO is skipped.
