Are you shure this is the right stack trace? The stack trace seems to be from invoking New Project Wizard for a new CDT project.

            While debugging remotely, unhandled event loop exception is thrown when hitting continuously on a breakpoint if Register View is opened and expanded. Shows  - An internal error occurred during: "has children update".java.lang.NullPointerException
