Yes, if you would like to help we would gladly accept it.
The short-term plan is to add more checkers so it more useful for end-users.
If you have something in mind what you would like to implement (i.e. new checker), please open a bug,
and submit the patch, and I would apply it. There are also some framework elements I have been working on,
there are listed in Future Work section of the wiki page.
