Re: [cdt-dev] Finding a patch for bug 224769
|
After tracking down the fix and then looking through the logs, I found
that it had been backported to CDT 4.0.3. Even better (from my
perspective!), I found it had been built and was available: For anybody
interested, you can find the (last?) unofficial build of 4.0.3 at:
http://archive.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/4.0.3/I.I200812051016/index.html

I am only looking to backport the fix for this bug. But I haven't yet
found what tyhe patch is!
I have customers using this version and are currently unable to move to
a later version. We are actually going to be jumping straight to
Galileo, eventualy...
Thanks - I'll take a look.

That's a pretty big backport. Take a look at the cdt-core import I've
got on github.com/jamesblackburn. That's patchset based so you should
be able to find the files that were changed at the time.
A lots change since 4 are you unable to migrate?

Hi,
I am trying to find patch that was made in CDT 5 to fix bug 224769
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=224769) so that I can
try to back-port to CDT 4. I have checked out the CDT source, but
can't find any reference to that bug number anywhere.
Any clues as to how I can find what was changed? Or how it was
patched. There is nothing in the bug.
Thanks
