RE: [cdt-dev] Some CDT features are missign from the about dialog

I don't mind them being hidden. The tools feature is meant to encompass them and represents the same functionality it had in previous releases. The new features, platform and the gnu ones, were done for ISVs who want to rip out everything above the platform. For example, Wascana will replace the GNU Debug feature with DSF and the DSF/MI features.

BTW, I've made a change to the releng scripts so that the CDT platform feature is moved to the Optional features list. There's still a lot of work to do on the p2 UI to make it easier to install this stuff. Luckily, that's where I'm spending most of my time these days.

Subject: [cdt-dev] Some CDT features are missign from the about dialog

Hi Folks,

not sure if you're aware of it, but if you install "CDT Tools" then
the features "CDT Platform" "CDT GNU Build", "CDT GNU Make"
are not visible in the about dialog and the CDT Tools feature
looks like it has no plugins at all.

It looks like the reason for this odd behavior is, that the CDT features
named to not have a branding plugin associated (and also no plugin
that happens to have the same name as the feature). I'm not sure
if this is intentional or somethign that you'd like to fix.
