[cdt-dev] AST Build invocation from the CDT editor

Hi all,
I want to know when does the code , to build the AST, get invoked exactly (in CDT Plugin). Is it in the key press event of CDT editor. i.e. as and when user is keying in the code, it start updating the AST?
