Just an update on what’s happening with the IP team. Our request for the Task Tags (TODOs) feature has made the final cut for Europa. I am still concerned though if this takes more than a week or two, it’ll be a bit to destabilizing for CDT 4. But we’ll see when this gets done.

Based on feedback we received from you and additional work completed to date, we have compiled below a list of all Europa submissions that remain outstanding.  This is everything for Europa that is on our radar as of yesterday.   If you believe that you have a Europa requirement that is not listed below, contact me ASAP.   

 

These 15 remaining submissions will be our 1^st priority.  All other requirements will take a back seat to help us meet our Europa targets.  Exceptions will be managed on a case by case basis and we’ll try where we can to take into consideration Project’s desires to ship something at the same time as Europa (e.g. TPTP Tech Preview).

I wanted to update everyone on where we sit with our IP review for Europa projects.  Since January 31, 2007, we have resolved bugs for 172 contributions for projects participating in Europa.   A more detailed summary follows together with a request that projects update us on all non-EPL contributions that were submitted after the January 31, 2007 deadline.   Also, in any case where the status appears to be awaiting committer/project/PMC, please update us as soon as possible.  The more time we have, the more likely we will be able to review the submission in time for the release.

Please let us know (via email to myself and emo@xxxxxxxxxxx) which of these contributions you wish to have included in the Europa release.  In order to manage requirements - absent a confirmation that a package is needed for Europa, we will assume that it is not.

 

In addition, we continue to resolve bugs for EPL contributions for Europa projects as they come in.  Currently, 6 EPL contributions for Europa are outstanding.
