Re: MacOS X, there was a patch sumbitted to get the core fragments built
right to work on x86 or PPC, but the problem is that none of the committers
really even have PPC hardware let alone x86. So, really no one is prepared
to touch the patch just based on the fact that there is no way for anyone
to test it.

Is there a plan item and someone committed to making it happen? I do recall
a bug being raised but I can?t remember what the resolution was.
