For our part at TI we’re kind of in
a holding pattern waiting to see what’s happening with Wind River’s
new Device Software Development Project. We had planned on putting together a
working group but now that there’s a top level project devoted to this it
makes sense that we would co-ordinate our efforts via that route.

There was talk at the last CDT call of
having a embedded/debug centric face to face meeting sometime in the next
couple of months but I’ve not heard much of anything further. Maybe we
will get more details in this month’s conference call on Wednesday.

Subject: [cdt-debug-dev] Embedded
CDT initiative
There
was some talk at the EclipseCon about making CDT more "embedded friendly".
Most of this was to do with defining, configuring and debugging remote
targets. Who is leading this initiative? Are there any proposals
out there yet?
Thanks,
Warren
