Try 'target extended-remote blah', that should allow you to then issue
a 'run'. Disclaimers: the extended-remote target could have suffered
from bitrot, and the stub on the board must support it.

If you have gdb specific questions that don't relate to the CDT, your
best bet is to direct them to gdb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
