[cdt-core-dev] The source code parser & 2.0.1

We plan to do a significant amount of
work in the HEAD to improve the performance and scalability of the parser
and its clients.  We plan to merge the HEAD back into 2.0.1 once that
work has stabilized.  

In order to make this merge NP-complete,
I ask for all committers to use discretion when committing to the 2.0 branch
on these features.  Since we do plan on merging the parser and parser-related
features back into the 2.0 branch, submitting a fix or update to the HEAD
will get propogated into 2.0.1 in good time.
