Re: [cdt-core-dev] cdt class hierarchy

Certainly on my wish list: a common, documented framework for adding
support for new languages to Eclipse. My area of interest would be with
Ada. Unfortunately we're not there yet. I have heard that John
Duimovich, the Tools PMC, has expressed the need for such a framework as
well but I'm not sure where that went.

Also, I have not seen much documentation on the CDT and we spend most of
our time as code archeologists and talk things over with the QNX gang who
created most of it. It's worked fine so far.

Sorry I can't be of much more help.
Doug

Subject
[cdt-core-dev] cdt class hierarchy

I am trying to modify the CDT plugin so that eclipse can support FORTRAN.
However, I had a hard time finding the documents about the hierarchy of
CDT, ie. the purpose of each class. I wonder if anyone can help me out
with this. I can't do anything without that basically.

And, if you have any other advice or documents about what I am going to
do, please let me know. I sincerely appreciate it.

thanks a lot

Ren
