Subject: Copyright modification dates for files under Thales Global Services copyright
Hi everyone,
For anyone who is contributing to Capella classes and files with a THALES GLOBAL SERVICES copyright header,
Update of the last year of modification in the Copyright header per commit is no longer required and will be performed automatically on major releases.
(this requirement will not be checked on gerrit reviews anymore)
Rules are now:
-
For files under THALES GLOBAL SERVICES copyright :
o
On any new file, add a copyright
as usual, with correct date.
o
On any modified files, you can skip update of the last year modification, we will do it automatically afterwards.
(you can still update Contributors section though).
-
For files under another copyright than THALES GLOBAL SERVICES, this new
rule doesn’t apply and copyright updating rule of the entity shall be followed as usual.
This rule applies ONLY on following Capella repositories :
-
capella/capella
-
capella/capella-filtering
-
capella/capella-requirements-vp
-
capella/capella-sss-transition
-
capella/capella-tools
-
(ie: it doesn’t apply on Kitalpha, Kitalpha viewpoints, Capella Studio, Amalgam, Diffmerge
or Sirius repositories)
This new rule has been approved by Thales Global Services IP Team and Capella Project Lead.
Best regards,
Philippe
