Hi Felix,
The idea of Oomph/Setup generated target is still a good idea, and you're effort won't be useless.
We are currently experimenting building Capella with tycho, and the target I created won't be the definitive one.
We are aware of these problems of multiple targets (potentially unsynchronized as you said) but we will go step by step :)

Can we not try to use the one generated by .setup? Why use a separate definition if we already have one?
