Re: [ca-dev] introduction

Ray

Great to have you step up to the Lead role. We appreciate the support.

Dmitry Kornilov, from the Jakarta EE PMC can help orient you to the various bits about building and releasing details. He and Lukas Jungmann have set up the build and release jobs at https://jenkins.eclipse.org/cjoc/ (I'm unable to get to the CA JIPP right now ... hmm). They are located in Prague. If you ever have a chance to get out that way, I'm sure they'd be happy to show you where the best local hangouts are.

If there is anything we can help you with from Oracle, don't hesitate to ask.

Again, welcome!

Hello All,

My name is Raymond Augé. I am a software architect at Liferay, Inc. and a full time java nerd. Today, I was, surprisingly, appointed as the Common Annotations Project Lead. If you wish to know the history of this outcome please look through the eej4-pmc mail list archives.

I arrive here with the hope and expectation that together we'll make sure to nurture this project into a bright future.

Sincerely,
- Ray

PS: I'm hoping for a lot of help and insight from those who've hacked these bits before ;)
