Subject: [birt-pmc] EclipseCon Tracks

Guys,

Wanted to give you a heads up on what I am planning on trying to recruit for the conference.  The program will still be made up of content that is submitted by the community.  The big change this year is that they have asked that we actively recruit quality content.  I intend to look for submissions by asking for submissions from the community through the Web Page, Newsgroup, and BIRT World.

We do not have as many slots this year, but I think that we got our fair share of the conference program.  The committee is holding out a fair number of slots for exceptional submissions that over flow the appropriate slot.  If we have quality presentations submitted then we can’t handle with our track allocation, there is a chance that we will still be able to get them into the conference program.

Keeping that in mind, I want to have a bit of a wish list in terms of what I am looking for.  I have more content listed then will fit, but I think it provides some guidelines as to what we are looking for.

Could you review and let me know if there are any items that you really would like to see featured in the conference that are not represented here?  We can discuss this next week on Monday if that is easier.

Scott
